MY STORY:
I am Barbara Poulin, a Shaman, a Certified Facilitator for Access Consciousness, and Energy Healer. I was raised on a ranch in the mountains of Colorado. I have always had a deep connection to animals and nature. My early childhood found me drawn to injured animals and I would bring them home to nurse them back to health. I just knew I could heal them, I just didn't understand how, at that young age. Even growing up in a "haunted” house, I recognized my own sensitivities with other entities from a very young age. Over the years, those sensitivities have allowed me genuinely help people from all walks of life.
As I matured, I surrounded myself with a variety of amazing healers. It was the teachings of Native American Shaman healers that instilled in me the wisdom to connect to my own gifts and powers. I learned to use them responsibly, efficiently, and respectfully. I familiarized myself with many healing modalities, from edible and medicinal herbs to hands on energy work.
Finally, In 2010, I took the deep dive into growing my own Shaman skill and practice. While Shamanism has not always been a widely accepted practice, I kept asking for more teachers that would allow me to be more accessible. This is when I was introduced to Access Consciousness®. I continue to learn, practice, and grow, that I might continue to be a blessing to my community.
While this may seem like very serious business, and you may expect a solemn approach to my sessions but you would be mistaken! My practice has become like second nature. For me, it is like a fun activity, hence, why I invite you to come play with me! I love getting to know people, enriching their lives and empowering them!
